The spikes contain a hardened steel tip, which is encased in steel and then completely galvanized.

Pre-drill a hole in the base plate with a 4.5mm drill at the points where the spikes are to be mounted, which is at least as deep as the spike thread.

The spikes are then screwed into the holes in the base plate using the screw-in adapter.

You can order the screw-in adapter right here in the shop.

Tip: The service life of the base plate can be significantly increased with the help of the spikes. For this you only need 4x spikes per base plate. This significantly reduces abrasion. This can be a great help, especially in the toe area.
