We deliberately distinguish between courses and workshops. To ensure our offers are safe, worthwhile and professionally suitable for all participants, there are certain participation requirements depending on the format.
Courses (for private individuals / horse owners)
Our courses are aimed at interested horse owners without a commercial hoof care activity. They teach basic knowledge and practical basic skills in handling our products.
Requirements:
- interest in hoof health and hoof protection, but no professional background required
- minimum age of 18 years
- suitable clothing (weatherproof, sturdy shoes)
Knowledge taught in courses serves to better assess and care for your own horse when handling our products, not commercial hoof care. At the end, you usually receive a certificate of attendance.
Workshops (for hoof care professionals and experts)
Our workshops are aimed at professionally or commercially active farriers, hoof care providers, hoof technicians, hoof orthopaedists and similar specialists. They deepen specialist knowledge, practice and special techniques for the professional fitting and application of our products.
Participation requirements:
- professional knowledge and qualification in hoof care
- proof of completed or ongoing training in hoof care
- basic anatomical knowledge of the horse's leg and hoof
- regular practical work on horses and correspondingly safe handling
- safety shoes / sturdy, closed shoes
- sturdy, weatherproof clothing and gloves
As part of our workshops, you receive a certificate after successful participation, confirming the technical content and your participation.
Certificate of attendance or certificate?
Whether you receive a certificate of attendance (course) or a certificate (workshop) is always stated in the respective course or workshop description on the detail page in the online shop.
