Goodsmith gluing workshop for farriers, hoof trimmers and veterinarians in the East Frisia area under the direction of Goodsmith partner and hoof care specialist Janice Engemann.

In addition to a theoretical component, the workshop focuses primarily on practical work. This includes fitting, welding, and gluing until the techniques are mastered. Both dry runs and gluing to the hoof will be covered.
Important :
You must bring your own tools!

Process:

- Why plastic?
- Why glue?
- Which horses is the Goodsmith suitable for?
- What tools do I need for gluing?
- How is the hoof prepared?
- How is the base plate adjusted?
- How are tabs positioned?
- What should be considered in special cases (laminitis, clubfoot, etc.)?
Practice 1
- Each participant works with Goodsmith material
- Both the adjustment of the base plate and the welding can be practiced and perfected here "until you drop"
- In this step, each participant makes a glued shoe on the demo hoof, which can be used to explain the shoeing and its attachment to future customers.

- Sticking to the hoof
- Each participant has the opportunity to glue a hoof independently but with supervision.
