Getting started with Klebebeschlag

Hello dear Goodsmith team and dear readers,

at the end of September (2023) I ordered the starter set and, together with my farrier, glued the glue-on shoes onto my horse's hooves.

You were our last hope, since my horse has very thin walls, which makes nailing very difficult. On top of that, the hoof quality is poor due to weather conditions and so on. My farrier had already tried all the other alternatives, as my horse cannot go barefoot without shoes.

Honestly, we were very skeptical about whether everything would really hold, since my horse lives in an open stable and is exposed to the weather (moisture, dryness, sand), and other glue-on shoes lasted a maximum of 3 weeks. At the Americana on Lake Constance, you assured me that the glue-on shoe would hold.

My farrier and I are both very positively surprised. The first "shoeing" held for 8 weeks without any problem, as did the following ones. The quality of life of my 23-year-old Quarter Horse gelding has also improved thanks to your great invention. I am simply thrilled.
