Out in the terrain with 4 Hufschuhe

I switched my horse to barefoot last winter and he is kept in an open stable. Since we enjoy going on extensive rides through the countryside, we needed well-fitting hoof protection.
After some test phases with other hoof boot brands, I became aware of Goodsmith and ultimately decided on them.

We had the Goodsmiths fitted for all four hooves. The whole process took about two and a half hours. Thanks to the flexible adjustment and fixation, we were finally able to solve the problem, as we had previously lost other hoof boots quite often during canter.

My horse walks very confidently in the countryside with the Goodsmiths, and rocky sections are no longer a problem. Since we also like to go to the oval track more often and the ground is quite hard in summer, we have found a good solution with the hoof boots. Due to the low weight, I don't notice any changes in the gaits either.

The Goodsmith hoof boots can be put on quickly and without any issues. My horse moves in a relaxed manner with them, and rocky paths are no longer a problem either. At first we used the old model (orange). However, this showed signs of fatigue on the plastic parts after a very short time and was therefore no longer usable. After getting in touch with Goodsmith, a complete set of parts for the new model was provided free of charge, as the issue was already known.

Thanks to this accommodating solution from Goodsmith, we now have a great hoof boot in the new model that we use gladly and often.
