Klebebeschlag in rocky terrain

I have a bit of feedback to share with you.

The Goodsmith glue-on shoe even holds up on a Noriker gelding weighing nearly 900 kg. It should be mentioned that the gelding wore iron shoes for 18 years and was then transitioned to barefoot. Since the little Noriker spends a lot of time out on trails and up on the alpine pasture in summer, he unfortunately had his share of abscesses and minor ailments. He was then fitted with the Goodsmith system, and everyone is thrilled — horse and owner alike. At 21 years old, he moves like a youngster. The plates and tabs stand up to the strain. The rear tabs were reinforced and there are no issues. The glue-on shoe holds even in steep, rocky terrain.

Once he stepped one off; the tabs were lightly sanded, the hoof was lightly rasped and cleaned. The plate together with the tabs was glued back on and has already been holding for a 3rd week now. A great system that works even on heavy horses.
