Flexible, durable and perfect for demanding hooves

I was looking for an alternative to various hoof boots for my horse and discovered the Goodsmith Hufschuhe. I found the idea brilliant, because this way I could adapt the boot to fit Whiskey's hoof.

Whiskey had had big problems with the iron shoes this year due to the weather, because they broke out and nothing held anymore.

Due to poor horn growth, that was a big problem and I did not want to take him out of the herd. So I ordered the Hufschuhe and was able to flexibly adapt the hoof to the shape. Even without or with little heel, he could wear the boots permanently without any problems, without anything cutting in or rubbing.

With continuous trimming and the wearing of the boots, the hoof substance recovered quickly. Whether a fast canter in the terrain, romping in the open stable or muddy ground, the boots fit perfectly and the bearing edge as well as the heels have recovered quickly. A full success, and I am very satisfied, and recommend them to everyone!

My conclusion: a super brilliant invention of a Hufschuh. The application was easy, takes some time, but is worth it!

Another great plus is the option to simply swap the base plate if needed and thus significantly extend the lifespan of the boots.
