Can the Hoof Boot Be Worn Permanently?

Our hoof boot is not intended to remain on the hoof permanently.

If your horse needs permanent hoof protection, our glue-on horseshoe is the right choice instead. It is designed to stay on the hoof longer and provide lasting protection.

For therapeutic purposes – for example in particular rehab or transitional situations – it can make sense to leave the hoof boot on the hoof for a longer period. In such cases, however:

• This should always be discussed with the treating veterinarian or farrier / hoof trimmer.
• Regular checks of the hoof and the fit of the hoof boot are important.

This ensures that the use of the hoof boot optimally supports the therapy and no additional problems arise on the hoof.
