What Sizes Is the Hoof Boot Available In and What's Included in the Kit?

The Goodsmith hoof boot (hoof boot kit) is currently available in the following sizes:

• 100 mm – 120 mm
• 120 mm – 140 mm
• 140 mm – 160 mm
• 160 mm – 180 mm

Important for choosing the size:

The hoof boot kit each covers a range of hoof widths. Example:
The hoof boot kit in the size 120–140 mm can be used for hoof widths from 120 mm to 140 mm.
Depending on the individual hoof width, a base plate in size 120, 130, 140, or even 150 mm may be required. You therefore need to select and order the matching base plate separately.

Contents of the hoof boot kit (for one hoof)

The hoof boot kit for one hoof includes:

• 1× left side section
• 1× right side section
• 1× heel strap
• 1× gaiter
• 2× front straps
• 2× tension straps
• 1× pastern strap
• 1× screw kit for the side sections
• 1× screw kit for gaiter & heel strap

Please note:
The base plate (standard or rehab) is not included in the hoof boot kit and must be ordered separately. Without a matching base plate, the hoof boot cannot be fully assembled.

Additional notes

• Please also choose a matching base plate in the correct size and order it separately.
• You will need appropriate tools to fit the hoof boot.
• We recommend securing the screws in the hoof boot kit with our thread locker to prevent them from accidentally coming loose or getting lost.
