In addition to a theoretical part, the focus of the workshop is primarily on practice. This means; Adjusting, welding and gluing until the handles fit. Both "dry runs" and sticking to the hoof are covered.

Theory

• Why plastic?
• Why glue?
• For which horses is the Goodsmith suitable?
• What tool do I need for gluing?
• How is the hoof prepared?
• How is the baseplate adjusted?
• How are tabs positioned?
• What should you watch out for in special cases (deer, buck hoof,...)?

Practice 1

• Each participant works with Goodsmith material
  
• Both adapting the base plate and welding can be practiced and perfected "until you drop"
